Castlecomer have kicked off their 2016 with the release of "The Noise", the first single from their upcoming EP "All of the Noise" out later this year. Having seen huge international viral success from their 2015 hit "Fire Alarm" garnering over 800,000 Spotify streams in under 7 months. The boys then followed that up with a 7" Double A Side Vinyl with the tune "Escapism", which was added to the 'Triple J Hitlist' playlist on Spotify and received airplay on the station. Castlecomer have spent the start of 2016 in the studio with Scott Horscroft, are now excited to announce their own short run of shows before heading to the US for a few months.

Brass Knuckle Brass Band is joining forces with the capital's freshest emcees to bring you UPPER CUTS - a night of tight rhymes and the boomiest bap imaginable. In true mixtape style, BKBB will be laying down beats lovingly pilfered from artists like A Tribe Called Quest, Notorious B.I.G. and the Hilltop Hoods. We'll be featuring pretty much all of our favourite local emcees as part of the set: Coda Conduct The Ansah BrothersHayds and Roshambo. We are super excited to have soulful electro-pop duo PAINT on PAINT and local homie Jedbrii on the support tip. This is gonna be big.
